About Training Martingale

Key Feature Prevents a horse from raising its head above a certain height, which helps the rider maintain control and keeps the horse from evading the bit.
Structure A strap attached to the girth passes between the horse's front legs and divides into two "forks." Each fork has a ring through which the reins are threaded. It also includes a neck strap to hold the main strap in place.
Action When the horse throws its head up, the martingale rings exert a downward pressure on the reins and, consequently, the bit.
